Cool people like cool things, which is why we asked Noah Lennox to share a taste of his taste on Perfectly Imperfect.

Noah Lennox is a Baltimore-born, Lisbon-based musician best known for his solo-project Panda Bear, and for being a founding member of Animal Collective, a legendary band that defined an era with classic albums like Merriweather Post Pavilion and Strawberry Jam; two all timers for me. And for the last 20+ years he’s been creating magic with Panda Bear on acclaimed solo records such as Person Pitch andYoung Prayer, and experimental collaborations with Daft Punk, Dean Blunt, and Paramore. Noah tells me there’s new Panda Bear music on the way…so stay tuned. Lucky for us, Noah is here to tell us what he’s been into.

🧟‍♂️ resident evil

i was the kid at the birthday party holding a balloon in front of my face because indiana jones and the temple of doom freaked me out so scary games have never been my thing. but Rivka loves all things horror so ive been taking one for the team and tackling these with her one at a time. 6 is my favorite so far but weve done 2 and village as well.

👖 fucking awesome corduroy lounge pants (blue)

jason used to write me postcards on his travels and i still have them. hes tough to pin down these days tho. i have a couple of fa things but these are my favorite. ive been in a trackpant mode for 6-7 years and dont really like to wear much else. when i saw these were corduroy i had to have em. big fan of fa and jason generally.

🎵 mk.gee — two star and the dream police

a couple weeks ago i was poking around on the internet and came across “are u looking up” and really dug it. put a smile on my face in the same way first listening to ariels stuff did so long ago. turns out the rest of the record rocks and its been one of my go tos lately. “alesis” is one of my favorites.

i was never much good at skating but when i dreamed of what it might be like it looked like Niks skating. his parts make me feel calm and like everything is falling into place. hes not overthinking it or trying to show off. nothing fancy just speed power and grace.
