Cool people like cool things, which is why we asked Jeremy Levick to share a taste of his taste on Perfectly Imperfect.
Jeremy Levick is a New York City-based writer, actor and comedian whose body of work spans from headlines for The Onion and Clickhole, shows like What We Do in the Shadows, and Kristoffer Borgliās 2023 film Dream Scenario starring Nicholas Cage. For the last few years, Levick has joined forces with fellow writer/comedian Rajat Suresh to put out satirical videos such as conservative lecturer DESTROYS sjw college student, this spot-on Actors Roundtable parody with Justin Theroux, and the Joe Rogan bit on Tim Heideckerās Office Hours. Jeremy and Rajat are extremely underrated and among the very best at this style of parody. Lucky for us, Jeremy is here to tell us what heās been into.

š» Blue Jam
Blue Jam is a radio programme (British term for āprogramā) that Chris Morris made after Brass Eye. Itās a surreal collage of ambient music, monologues, and two-person sketches. I listen to it on Spotify while I ride my bike but I think it should work on any vehicle.
My favorite sketch is about these parents who are really casual about their child going missing. The man calls out to his wife āThey found the body, loveā and she goes, āOh!ā like itās an interesting piece of trivia. Comedy is really funny when it's paraphrased, so hopefully that made you crack up.
šŗ Thereās a new strawberry holding way
This is one of many funny and random-sauce videos by Jack Bensinger. Jack has an amazing way of phrasing things, such as āThereās a new strawberry holding way.ā
š½ļø Gasman (1998)
This is a short film by Lynne Ramsay that I like a lot. Itās sad and sweet and beautiful! And itās on Criterion right now.
šŗš¦§šŖ Spy In The Wild
Spy in The Wild is a BBC series narrated by David Tenant where they introduce wild animals to robots that look like the Chuck E. Cheese band members.
In this clip, an orangutan teaches herself how to use a sawā which is amazing and shows you how smart apes areā and then they introduce a fake orangutan that can saw way faster because itās a robot. Iām not sure what we are supposed to learn from this segment but itās awesome. Orangutans are amazing.
š YouTube videos explaining how to imagine 11 dimensions
I never remember how to do it afterwards, but while Iām watching the videos I always feel like I just took the Limitless pill.
šø Using the white void iPhone setting
It makes people look like theyāre in heaven. Here is my friend Johnny in heaven:
Ā š¹ Billy Joel - i go to extremes - live performances
I like Billy Joel but he sometimes has the sense of humor of a 7-year-old that just ate too much sugar. When he does this song live, he sometimes changes the lyrics to āI go for ice cream!!ā and during the solo he jumps up and down on the piano with his butt.
š“ Throwing a ball
I know this is very Mitt Romney saying his favorite meat is hot dog, but I like to throw around a ball. I turn my brain off and lay on the couch and toss it up and down. I bounce it against a wall. The best version is sitting around with a friend and having a catch Ā while chatting. Any ball: Tennis ball, Pinky ball, stress ball, whatever. At the time of writing, I have a purple grocery store ball and two foam tennis balls in my arsenal. Foam tennis balls are good because when you inevitably hit the TV, it wonāt fall over.
