Jordan Firstman is a Los Angeles-based writer, actor, and comedian, and the star of Sebastián Silva’s latest film, Rotting In The Sun, which premiered at Sundance earlier this year. Besides having written, produced, and acted in projects such as Search Party, The Other Two, Big Mouth, and Ms. Marvel, Jordan got famous for his viral Instagram series of impressions and character sketches back in 2020. He was recently profiled in publications including Vanity Fair, The Hollywood Reporter, and interviewed by Robert Pattinson in an article for Interview Magazine that is too good. I’ve been shouting this queens name for the last year and I’m not gunna stop. Dis gurrrrr. These are all shawtie bae original phrases. I don’t think people realize how hard it is to make a catch phrase that sticks. Shawtie bae has a new brilliant catch phrase every 2 weeks. Her running through a 2000 person crowd of fans at the mall with a military security team is peak culture.

A transcendent theatre experience. I knew it would be genius because it’s Kate but I literally couldn’t sleep the night I saw it thinking about the layers of brilliance. It’s like space, you wanna understand it, but it’s so vast in its scope that it starts to hurt and you start to feel small if you think too deeply about it. So you just have to laugh.

🐻 Haribo world mix in the fridge

I like my gummies super hard and cold. The world mix is great because it has everything, although I don’t love the ones with the white kinda nuggety texture in the middle. I never eat those.
