Coco & Clair Clair —aka Taylor Nave and Claire Toothill—are an Atlanta-Based glam rap duo who took the world by storm with infectiously fun & sexy tracks like Pretty, and further cemented their pop star status with 2022’s highly acclaimed debut Sexy. The Realest bitches in the room finished a massive tour earlier this year and now they’re back with a deluxe edition of Sexy that comes out on November 10th. They just dropped the first single, a remix of "The Hills (feat. DEELA)" by George Daniel of The 1975, which introduces a club ready drum and bass beat to the playful track. The record also features Club Eat, Empress Of, Homeshake, Chaeyoung of the Kpop group Twice, Clip, and more. Lucky for us, Coco & Clair Clair are here to tell us what they’ve been into.

📺 Ali’s Tarot

This is my go-to tarot lady. An evil demon from my past recommended her to me so I’m probably secretly being cursed with every video I watch but when this tarot lady is right she’s soooooo right. 

📽️ Tubi Movies

My friend Bintou has gotten me obsessed with indie black drama/thrillers that are like straight to Tubi (a Tubi original). It will literally look like it was shot on an iPhone but will be more captivating than any criterion film I’ve ever seen. I had no idea just how limitless you could be with little to no budget. My favorites are: Nasty by Breah Stevens and Deadly Secrets by Lemastor Spratling.

🎵 Golden Brown by The Stranglers

This song has always embodied the start of autumn for me until literally this week someone pointed out the song is actually about Heroin and not about the joys of seeing crisp golden brown leaves beginning to fall and the emotions it stirs within us….anyway this is still a hit that sticks like grits and will be in heavy rotation for me this September

📽️ Under the Cherry Moon by Prince

A gem. I would even go as far to say this is better than Purple Rain. If you want to see Prince in a backless suit, you’re welcome.

🧀 🐟 🥚 A cheese stick with a row of caviar on top

For starters, I can’t really cook so I rely heavily on snacking. This is a current favorite of mine. Vegan caviar works too if you’re vegan or on a budget or both why not…

📄 🔢 Sudoku

This is the only brain game I’ve ever really gotten into. I had a little GameBoy type thing that only had Sudoku on it when I was younger but it kind of ruined the fun for me, I’ve realized I need to do it with a pen and paper otherwise I actually hate it. 

👂 Boot’s Wax Earplugs

I’m pretty sensitive to sound and more often than not I’m sharing a room with someone, so earplugs have become a must-have for me. My mom has always used these and I remember thinking they were disgusting when I was younger because they look like little weird dirty bugs after they’ve been used a few times, but they’re the best earplugs I’ve ever had. I try to bring a pair and a sleep mask everywhere I go, especially when we’re on tour.  

🔒 Locking doors

I’ve always loved locking doors. If I’m in a room the door needs to be locked.
