Cool people like cool things, which is why we asked Miss Madeline to share a taste of her taste on Perfectly Imperfect.
Miss Madeline is a New Jersey-born, New York City-based musician. She got her start as a competitive child dancer, dancing ballet in Billy Elliot, which eventually led to making music under the moniker Miss Madeline back in 2018. She’s since released a six song EP, Picture This, and a steady stream of energetic club bangers such as “Sexy Rave Boy” and “Shock.” Just last week she dropped the pop anthem “Pretty Girl Party” ft. up-and-coming rapper CLIP which came with one of my favorite music videos of the year directed by mosh. Madeline is touring with Slayyyter (PI #326) this fall, so make sure you snag a ticket if she’s coming to your city. Lucky for us, she’s here today to tell us what she’s been into.
Without further ado

🪮 Revlon blowout brush
One day I’ll get a dyson…but this one works well and is cheap! Add the Color Wow Dream Coat (EXTRA STRENGTH) protectant spray, throw in some clip in extensions and voila the perfect at home blowout.
🏋️♀️ 🧘♀️ Reformer Pilates
I genuinely love working out! Idc if that’s annoying! My body is a work of art. I started Pilates the day I stopped ballet training when I was 16. It’s a Slow burn- it’s all about mind-body connection. I like boxing and hot yoga as well…and sometimes a Lily Sabri YouTube video…or a 12-3-30 moment on the treadmill..but Reformer Pilates is my favorite.
🥗 Sweet green kale caesar salad
Yes with the bread!!!!! It’s yummy and filling. My go-to.
🍵 🌿 Peppermint tea and a spliff
The perfect nightcap. Relaxing and wholesome. Solo or with friends (a cute collection of mugs is a must IMO and will make this experience even better-TJ max has lots of really cute and cheap mugs). If the bud is hitting, the quote on the tea bag might just give you a new perspective on life :)
👯♂️ 🏈 Cheerleaders
I unfortunately was never on the cheer team in high school for um..several reasons…BUT I love them! A bunch of dancers I worked with this year are pro cheerleaders and they were FABB. I love the way they move, their charm, their costumes. I just love the idea…a group of people hyping you up? That's so cute. Sports teams without cheerleaders are lameeeee. Can’t wait till my halftime performance when I get to perform w a WHOLE team…
🩰 Dancers I follow on Instagram
I’m obsessed w the dancers I follow. I can watch their dance class videos for hoursss. SHOUTOUT ALL MY GILYPOPS WHO WERE IN THE VMAS THIS YEAR. I SEE YOU!!!! I'M SO PROUD !!!! I learn so much from the dancers I work with. They ask the smartest questions…they hear music…differently…they COMMIT harder than most…I’ve been dancing since I was 4 years old…so it's really um… deep for me. I'm really inspired by dancer’s style in general- like what they wear to class. Not exactly the ballerina core aesthetic that is or was in recently (idk how I feel bout that…) more like dancer street style. Simple touches like one pant leg scrunched up, or socks with heels, or a shirt wrapped around the waist…or a baggy shirt hanging off the shoulder. It's all in the details and how the clothing moves with the body/how it influences the silhouette.
