Cool people like cool things, which is why we asked Hannah Diamond to share a taste of her taste on Perfectly Imperfect.
Hannah Diamond is a London-based musician, photographer, and visual artist. From spawning what would eventually become the PC Music sound with A.G. Cook on early cuts like 2012’s “Pink and Blue,” to creating the blueprint for the futuristic ethereal aesthetics that’d define the scene— Hannah is undeniably one of the most influential multidisciplinary artists of our time. The iconic label PC Music is now winding down after 10 years, so it’s fitting that Hannah’s new record on October 6th, Perfect Picture, will be one of it’s final releases. The title track came out earlier this Summer with a great music video and the last single leading up to the album, “Poster Girl,” just dropped yesterday. She also has sold out shows coming up in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and New York City, but there are still tickets left for London. Lucky for us, Hannah is here to tell us what she’s been into.
Without further ado

✨ Daily Affirmations
Writing Affirmations everyday has really helped me change the way I see myself & to help guide me to see myself in a more positive light always. I try to write down five things that I then post on my wall that then become my affirmations for that week. It’s really helped me through some challenging times and has been a great song inspiration too ;)
🫶 Glossier Future Dew
Glossier Future Dew is my ultimate make up product. I’m always very interested in extremes and perfect ‘Popstar’ skin falls under that too I guess. This product makes my skin feel Picture Perfect without any make up on, I don’t even use foundation anymore….
🐷 Sausage Dogs
My ultimate, ultimate life companion, nothing compares to a sausage dog really. The short legs, no knees… they’re funny, a little disobedient but they make everyday happier and sparklier. Especially my own sausage Reginald, my golden prince.
Keisuke is the best hairstylist in London. He is so so talented & the kindest, most generous person and I feel so grateful to have him as part of my creative team. He’s the person I ALWAYS go to get my hair the perfect shade of pink and you should follow him @keisuke_watari_
📖 ‘Pink Globalization: Hello Kitty’s Trek Across The Pacific’
This book is a MUST read. I’ve been reading a lot recently about the aesthetics of girlhood, girlishness, the colour pink & the symbolism behind it. Its informed a huge chunk of the identity behind my new album and also the exhibition I am co-curating at Somerset House (more news on that soon….!).
Fun fact: if you didn’t know already this book taught me that Hello Kitty is actually a little girl, not a cat.
🫐 Blueberries In The Freezer
Theres not much to say really apart from that this is the ultimate snack. It is the thing that can get me out of bed in the morning and ready to start the day at HD HQ. Girl breakfast, lunch & dinner. I think about them all day, between the moments that I’m thinking about Reggie. Frozen grapes are my second fave too.
