📽️ Dennis Hopper - Out Of The Blue (1980)

I guess his brand of outsider filmmaking probably doesn't resonate with the A24 crowd, but there was a time, likely before my own, where more people raved about Dennis Hopper, right? I was sent back down a rabbit hole after an Easy Rider watch and ended up finding a 4k remaster (which Natasha Lyonne and Chloë Sevigny helped make happen) of his 1980 film Out Of The Blue— I was blown away! Linda Manz's performance lives up to all of the hype and the ending will stick with you. I love the shots of Manz in the city and Hopper at the garbage dump with all the birds. Should I watch The Last Movie next??
