Rebekah Sherman-Myntti is a New York City-based filmmaker who founded the downtown independent entertainment company Simone Films with longtime collaborator KJ Rothweiler of The Ion Pack. She’s currently directing and producing TOMORROW!, a brand new variety show featuring NYC’s rising stars across music, fashion, comedy, food, and beyond. The pilot featured Malice K, Madeline Malenfant, Vish Velandy, Ruby McCollister and more, and this week’s episode includes Frost Children and Harry Goaz of Twin Peaks. Salamander Days, her first feature co-directed with KJ, is set to be released later this year. Simone Films also hosts an Actors Studio where teachers such as Michael Imperioli, Alex Ross Perry, Dolly Wells and more, share their perspectives on the craft with up-and-coming talent. Lucky for us, Rebekah is here to tell us what she’s been into.
