Blu DeTiger is a bass prodigy, singer-songwriter, and producer born and raised in New York City. After signing to Capitol Records and two years of touring and playing festivals, Blu is currently finishing her debut album. She started playing bass when she was 7 and later started DJing in the city while incorporating live bass into her sets. During the pandemic, her song “Figure It Out” and videos of her shredding popular songs on bass went viral on Tiktok. Blu has also performed with artists such as Caroline Polachek, Olivia Rodrigo, and Dominic Fike, and she was a special guest on SNL with Jack Antonoff and Bleachers. Lucky for us, Blu is here to tell us what she’s been into.
