#309: Rebekah Campbell
Rebekah Campbell on Bubble Tea from Chun Yang Tea, Slint's Spiderland (1991), The Town of Siwa in Egypt, and more.
Cool people like cool things, which is why we asked Rebekah Campbell to share a taste of her taste on Perfectly Imperfect.
Rebekah Campbell is an Oklahoma-born, New York City-based photographer and director. She’s snapped photos of Perfectly Imperfect alumni such as Ali Michael, Mac Demarco, and Julia Cumming of Sunflower Bean, as well as Natasha Lyonne, Margaret Qualley, Carly Rae Jepsen, Beach Fossils, and Beach House. Her style is an intimate blend of documentary & fashion that’s landed her in The New York Times, Dazed, Purple, iD, Vogue, and more. Campbell also tells me that she’s making the exciting, but daunting, transition from still images to moving ones by writing her very first film script. Lucky for us, Rebekah is here to tell us what she’s into.
