Emma Chamberlain is a Los Angeles-based content creator, podcaster, entrepreneur, and quite possibly— the most influential Gen-Zer. With millions of followers across multiple platforms and billions of views on her YouTube channel, Emma was deemed “the most talked-about teen influencer in the world” by The Atlantic in 2019. She’s continued to level-up and now interviews celebrities at the Met Gala for Vogue, graces the covers of Cosmopolitan, Marie Claire, and V Magazine, designs collections with Warby Parker + Levi’s, and appears alongside Chloë Sevigny and Rachel Sennott in the instantly-iconic music video for Charli XCX’s it-girl anthem, 360. She’s also turned her love for coffee into her namesake business Chamberlain Coffee which you can check out here. Despite all of the success and influence, Emma has maintained the same down-to-earth and candid tone that got her there. Emma has kicked off lots of trends over the years, and lucky for us, she’s here to tell us what she’s been into.

I have two (minor) issues in my life that have both been solved by a single action. The issues are, 1) I eat too fast and it causes me a number of horrific digestional issues and 2) I don’t read as much as I would like to. The solution is, reading while I eat. I discovered this by accident. I go through disciplinary phases where I force myself not to consume any form of internet content. During one of these phases, I found myself bored while eating my lunch alone and I decided to entertain myself with a book. Little did I know how delightful this would truly be. The physical requirements of reading a book forced me to slow down my eating, I think I added 20 minutes to my eating process by simply adding a book to the equation. Now, my stomach hurts less and I’m reading more books. Hurray!
